Flying Fun Toy Swing - Indoor/Outdoor Hanging Rope Swinging Seat Spinner

I bought this swing for my husband who pictured relaxing summer days reading a book under our carport in the trailer park (LOL). I was skeptical at first, thinking that this thing is made for small children. But it is incredibly sturdy and safe. So much so, that it is difficult to assemble by yourself.Putting the two half rings together required the strength of two adult males (luckily, our buff, 7 foot tall redneck room-mate was available, LOL) and a whole lot of grunting and F-bombs. But it is possible. The netting is super tight for a reason-- to support you and/or your overweight child(ren).Also, the only downside is that it does not come with the parts you need to actually hang it. Husband took a trip to the local hardware store and figured out with the help of some Ron Swanson looking dudes what he needed and how to set it up. It wasn't too difficult once he had all the parts. And yes, you do at least need an electric drill.We've considered setting it up inside the house, because a swing in the middle of the living room does sound pretty ridiculous. Our house is already set up like a 5 year old's imagination so we think that's the next step. The most important thing is finding a sturdy beam and tall enough ladder. Don't just willy nilly this thing into some drywall and think it's going to hold up anything. You're just asking for trouble.If you have the necessary muscle and order some additional hardware, I would absolutely recommend purchasing this swing.

 Before buying this saucer swing, I had two swings in my patio: a "baby" one for my one year and a half, and a regular one for my six year old, which means each kid swings in his/her own. I liked the idea of this circular swing so they could both play it together.The swing was easy to put together; the instructions could have been better, but overall I could understand me. The only part that it took me a little effort to figure out is the top/bottom orientation, but it became obvious once I realized that the openings for the hooks need to be facing up. It took me around 30 minutes and, once built, the swing feels sturdy and safe.The swing comes with a string that you can adjust. However, even in the longest setting, it was too short for my patio. I solved this by using an extra chain (that I had from my girl's swing) and get it to be low enough so it is less dangerous if they ever fall from the swing (as I have no other option than having it over concrete). The hooks to attach it to the ceiling are not included, I also used the ones from the previous swing.Overall, both of my kids are loving their new saucer swing, and it is definitely an improvement for our patio entertainment!

I bought this swing for my sons to use on their current swing set. They had out grown the current swings and just weren't using it at all. The Saucer Swing was easy to assemble and is extremely well built--very solid. I just took down the old swings and hooked the Saucer Swing to the existing hooks. The picture shows my 11 year old son "lounging" on the swing. This swing makes our swing set usable for my kids again. They even have a plan to build a frame to hang it from so they can use it in our basement in the winter! Great fun!
