It holds big amount of food. Really convenient. But there are a few problems.1. One of my cats allergic to the plastic plates. So I had to replace it with the ceramic plates.2. There is no down button. So if I want to change the time to 8:01 to 8:00, I have to press 59 times to change it.3. And the reason I have to change the time is that the clock gets faster little by little everyday. I have tow same machines and one of the clocks gets faster than the other one. If I have one cat, it’s not a problem. But one of my cats need to loose weight and he is always so greedy to steal food. So if I don’t feed them at the same time, the greedy cat will finish his food really quickly and steal foods from the other machine.But overall it fine with the price.

It's kind of a pain to set the times but I really love this feeder and it was way easier than I thought it would be to set up. It's also way bigger than I thought it would be which is good bc it holds a lot of food. I haven't set up a recording but my cat hears it and knows the schedule I set for it. I only use the breakfast and dinner on the smallest setting (with the portion tray that is already installed) and it's the perfect size. 10/10 would recommend :)

We absolutely love this feeder. My husband and I bought the PetSafe feeder for our cat, and it worked ok for a while. The setup was a pain and it eventually ended up giving her the wrong amounts of food. For our sanity, we said screw it. She was eating out of a bowl and getting chunkier by the day. The vet of course said she was big, so we decided to try this. O.M.G. the setup was sooooooooooooo much easier, and I love the different size gears inside the machine. She is able to get 4 meals a day, and I recorded my voice yelling her name and meowing haha. While the recording isn't loud, I pretty much yelled into the feeder, and I can hear my own meows a couple rooms away. You will see in the photos that our cat has no problem moving the kibbles closer to her, so the "bowl" part of the feeder isn't a problem for us. We are so happy for this feeder... The cat, though, is still a little pissed haha. She'll be alright.

I researched these a lot before choosing this version. It seemed more modern looking and like a newer model than some of the others. I love that the controls are hidden inside the top lid, so that kids can't mess with it. The food tray and body design look sleek and it's not embarrassing to have this out in your home. Our little puppy doesn't eat much right now, so the food has been piling up, and it isn't spilling over or making a mess at all, just makes a bigger mound on the tray until we go stop it. We keep it plugged in, so can't speak to the battery use yet. Overall, really happy with it.

It may just be my cat and her spastic eating style but she pushes the food to the back of the tray and then her head can't reach under the dispenser area to get the food. I just used a book to help tip the feeder forward so gravity will help her out.
