We bought this to use till we got plumbing, it took longer than we thought so we have been using it for about 7 months straight as our only toilet! It's great. No structural or parts damage, don't think it was meant to be used this hardcore haha. Make sure to use the portal packs, one pod only per round. Fill it with a little water, then add the pod, you'll be a lot happier with the smell that way. Also if you empty it before it gets super full you will have a MUCH easier time. I would 100% buy this again for myself or any friend or family member that needed one.

I need to speak with someone about operational and usage instructions for this device that are NOT covered in the manual. I prefer a phone call from a tech.
1. The piston pump does not seem to work and seems to have a lock down mechanism, or shipping lock that wont release with no instructions on how to do so.
2. The full indicator on my new unit is already RED and is not supposed to be red until the tank is ready for dumping, please explain.
3. There is no explanation as to how often or when to use the pressure relief valve.

I bought this for a party far from the house, and with a little portable tent, it served it's purpose perfectly. I've also taken it camping with me, and kept it in the tent, because I hate having to leave the tent in the middle of the night to pee! I'm now ridiculously pleased to realize that if the power goes out in the current blizzard, and my well quits working, I can just use this until the power is functioning again! I have the little treatment packets in the holding tank, and I've never had a problem with any bad odors. Dumping it is a piece of cake ... I just empty it into my toilet when it needs it! Definitely would recommend and purchase again if needed.

So far so good. We live in our semi so it gets used a lot. Tried this company after the lost portable "pooped out" after 1 year. Construction is good and my husband said having the elbow made emptying it less messy. Wish the seat was sturdier though.
