First things first: this is clearly not a high security safe. If that's what you're after, you're going to need to spend a lot more money. What this safe is ideal for is keeping things like guns away from young children—stuff like that.What I'm using it for is a metal fire containment box for my LiPo drone batteries. It's rare for them to catch fire, but it can happen. This box is made from steel, and should contain any fires, should they occur. In the event of a fire, the mounting holes will prevent the box from pressurizing and becoming a bomb.Setup was easy, and everything is working as designed. As long as your expectations are on par with the design of the product, you'll be satisfied.

To many people are thinking this is a heavy duty safe that nothing or no one can get into. For what it is....this thing is amazing. If u need it to actually protect your items from being stolen....fire.....or water? Then this is not the safe for u. It's more to keep kids out of what ever they shouldn't be in. And to keep maybe landlords or others from going through your stuff. Over all I love mine. And keep it on my desk.

Great little safe and quiet sturdy too for the price. I bought a second one a week later. It’s small enough to actually hide from a thief and that is what I would want to do not keep it out where they are tempted. I honestly don’t think anything keeps them out if they want in so my idea is to keep it out of sight keep my money safest and so that everyday type thieving can’t be done lol

I am using the safe to store a couple of guns to keep away from teenagers. It does a good job. At first I couldn't figure out where the key hole was to open it the first time. Had to go on youtube to find out. It turns out that the key hole comes covered with a lid that needs to be taken off using a sharp object life a pointed knife. So far so good.
