Works great & cools our apartment down incredibly. The air conditioner is very quiet & I hardly even notice it being on. I chose this AC because most of the others in this price range have to be emptied by a bucket, this one evaporates the water itself so there is no extra hassle. It was also extremely easy to install in our horizontal window with the window kit & also about half the weight/size of all the other portable ACs sold on Amazon. For the price you can’t beat it & it works so well, finally we can actually be in our apartment without sweating like crazy. I seriously have no complaints! I have had this for almost a month!

I bought 2 of these to install in our upper bedrooms, our central A/C can’t cool the upper part of our house (sucks to have a 2 storey) anyways, it got delivered today by UPS, i opened up 1 box, inspect every parts and saw this little plastic bracket at the back bent and almost broken, hanging. I don’t wanna touch it bcoz it might get really loose or fall apart. Both unit have the same defects, the plastic thingy behind the unit ( i guess its for the power strip to coil in that plastic thing). Installed both of them & they’re blasting cold air even on a low fan.

The biggest issue with this is installing the window part! My husband and I went and got some additional weather stripping (foam) so the sliding pieces were flush with the window. Well worth it- keeps out the hot air and bugs! Machine itself is fairly loud, you can talk over it but you’re not talking at a normal volume. Overall would buy again because it’s dang effective at cooling the room!!
