Great unit and quiet, but the window piece provided wasn't made for a 27.5" window frame. However, I went to the local hardware store and purchased a 5.5" PVC board and cutout for the adapter to fit within the window track and weather stripped bottom and top to create an air-tight seal. Very pleased with the unit and how it cools the space, really excited to see how it performs in heating mode during winter months. I will follow up on that part of the unit when we get to the heating season.
Thanks for creating a portable unit, which I have to say I have never used one prior to this one.

This is my first portable AC, and I'm impressed by its power. I have a chronic health condition that makes me heat sensitive, and I noticed a significant difference in the comfort of the room within fifteen minutes on the low setting. My sleep quality has improved tenfold since using this product at night. It's quieter than my fan at full speed, so I'm happy with it.

Blows air. That's it. Very expensive fan. It's definitely not cooling anything, but maybe I'm expecting too much.

I ordered the 10,000 BTU unit last year and was impressed with it. I was Especially impressed with the heater in the winter as my baseboard heater stopped working.
Thus, I ordered the 12,000 BTU unit this year. I am looking forward to it as temps are rising.
